Keith, part of dues-paying is not playing as often as you like, or where you like. Like playing in the garage (woodshedding). It goes under the "not sucking" heading. I've said numerous times, and PMAC reiterated it... no magic button or secret handshake, just be good at whatever odd, unpopular thing you play. I hope to be good at something myself, someday, and keep working at it.
And have fun. The easiest way to get people interested in something they have no clue about is to make it look like something they'd want to do. Just keep chipping away at the stone, kiddies. I guarantee it won't be in vain.
