Don't bitch to me about the economy while you're still buying Chinese products.
Good luck. I have a '94 EF-341C and I've been approached to sell the onboard preamp from it. It seems they are considered among the best Takamine ever offered, and people install them in other guitars, even later ones. I have to admit, my Tak doesn't sound like much unplugged (lifeless and dull), but plug it in, and you'll not get a stronger signal and more-pronounced piezo "quack" from anything I've heard.
That would explain why they're hard to find.

Actually I'm suprised they are hard to find, the necks seemed to warp fairly easy on them so I figured there may be alot collecting dust.songsmith wrote:Good luck. I've heard that about the necks... I have an F-series, which is a step up from the G-series, though they are still nice guitars. I had mine out last night for the first time in 3 years or so, and it was still in tune, still ruler-flat on the fretboard. I'm bummed that I stored it like that (supposed to let the tension off the strings for long periods), but happy it didn't warp. Those necks are kind of slim, so I bet they're pretty prone to damage.
