Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA

Not like it's going to deter me from getting tickets, but does anyone know anything of this place? Is it a big place? I read some bio on the place and seems interesting.

I don't know if this helps at all but my buddy (who lives in the area) really likes the club a lot...in fact I believe that August Burns Red filmed "Backburner" there...?

Chameleon Club is def. a smaller atmosphere but however has awesome sound and get's alot of top-notch bands in there. Aside from Crocodile Rock on that side of the state, this is one of the inside premier venues to go catch a national act coming through on a tour. To get an idea of what the place is like look it up on YouTube or look up Halestorm on YouTube playing at the Chameleon and it will give you an idea of what the place is like. Regardless it is a venue that you will enjoy.

That's cool. Yeah, I'm going to see Norma Jean (I'm on some weird kick on them lately if anyone hasn't read my posts recently) and like 3 other bands. Surprised it was for only 15 bucks sans the fees and taxes. So I'm completely stoked for it. It's my first show featuring a national act in like 11 years. I read the bio on the place a couple of days ago and it said via the "about" section on their webpage... "The Chameleon, est. June 1985, is a twenty five year old cultural institution in Lancaster City, Nationally known for it’s commitment to live original music, The Chameleon put Lancaster City on the map in the early nineties as the #2 Music Industry Hot Spot(second only to Seattle, Washington), “as one of the greatest places to see live original music and the most promising up & coming bands” according to MTV." I would've hoped that there might have been some pics of the place, but I didn't think to check out youtube. I'll have to do that.

Thanks again everyone.

Good venue.

Don't try to conceal carry - they metal detector wand everybody.

Park in the Water Street Garage - it's directly across from the venue.

Be forewarned - Lancaster has a buttload of one-way streets, so be prepared to deal with that.

The Village is the other place in town where you can see a full-on rock show.

Cool thanks for the advice. I'm going to give them a call about what I can and can't bring.
