Gibson LP + Bogner Shiva

Post by The Shadow »

Gibson LP Traditional Pro straight in to the Shiva into an Avatar Premier Vintage 2x12 with one V30 and one G12H30. The Shiva is the EL34 version. This is the OD channel without the boost.
Feedback on these would also be nice. I have posted clips here before and alot of people listen but only seldom has anyone ever commented.

That Bogner sounds pretty good. I would love to have one, but they cost way too much for me. Probably what I am going to do is go the Line6 DT50 route to get one ..

Take out a loan, eat nothing but ramen noodles, rob a bank, make some meth and sell it, etc....

I have all the answers. :D

Some sweet tone there, Mel. I like amps that do the Marshall vibe but with with more gain. Well...I just like gain.

The Shiva has a little more gain than a stock JCM 800 on the OD channel and it has a footswitchable boost as well. The models from 2006 and on have a boost that also has a level controll. The overall feel of the amp is pretty stiff so if you are a bad player evryone will know you are a bad player the second you start playing. Even with the boost engaged it never does get that really liquid feel to it, say like a 5150 or other really compressed amps.
