Hey guys. I’m currently the drummer for the band Painted For War (http://www.myspace.com/paintedforwar). We have a 5 song EP out now called “Forging Disruption” and we write and play heavy metal/hard rock.
I’ve been the drummer since the beginning but unfortunately I’m moving away to South Carolina to get married toward the end of summer. I’d hate to see the band break up so I’m doing everything I can to find a suitable replacement.
Anyone interested can check their egos at the door, we don’t need them. Also, anyone has to be able to compose their own drum tracks that are creative yet fit the song. Any experience on other instruments is a plus. There is some double bass in our songs so anyone interested would have to be familiar with it. Previous band experience is preferred but not totally necessary.
Like I said, I don’t want to leave but I think the best thing here is to find a great replacement myself. I’ll send you tabs of all of the drum tracks…hell I’ll even record videos of me playing originals and meet with you as many times as it takes to get everything down pat.
