ROCKPAGE.net Benefit THANK YOU's

Post by Mysterytrain »

Final total raised for the ROCKPAGE.net benefit was $505.00 which is about six months worth of server space that Ron doesn't have to pay for.

And so here come the thank you's...

The crowd - Without your support it would be pointless.

Ron Nearhoff - You have a great website, man!

Claudio - Nice place and very supportive of live music.

Zilly and John Scarfone - The sound was amazing.

30 Something staff - Nobody went thristy.

Jim Price - All is well when JP is around.

Represent the Lie - Slammin sound!

Aunt Lisa's Bone - Great music, strong vocals... more please.

EVK - Always entertaining. Always fun.

Rich Edmiston/Alex - Sweet acoustic music. Nice people.

Mr Mike and the Rhythm Kings - First performance together. Good luck with your project.

Dustin Burley - Safe travels on your upcoming tour.

Chuck Mason and Blue Reality - Bar owners, book this groovy band.

Saving Jake - Great bunch of guys. Perfect time slot.

The House Band - What a great band!

Nick Miller - Blew everyone away.

Eon Blu - Final show before taking a break. Miss it already.

Chris Vipond and the Stanley Street Band - Funkin' A, man!

In closing....

Perhaps this will become an annual event. Would that be cool?
Keep on keepin' on,
Dan

CV&SSB had a blast last night! We were honored to be a part of this event. Dan, you always set up great events. I would say "show", but that would be below the level in which you work;)

JP also did an illustration of us while we sweat up there! Nice work, JP!

Zilly ALWAYS rocks our world, and he likes to mix us so that's a plus! His attention to detail is amazing.

It was awesome to see all the support from members and non-members alike. This area has a multitude of talent and the past 2 days has proven this on many fronts.

Ron, sorry we didn't make it to your after party, but we forgot which Hotel you were lodged in...besides you had a bunch of sassy-lassies with you so I'm sure you managed to have some fun! Nice place you have here:)

Great Job Dan for a great cause. I just wish more people would have come out to this event.

But then I guess I always end up wishing more people would come to the shows...

Thanks for all who did attend!

Everyone who did not show up should have their membership dues increased...

We uploaded some clips from CV & SSB's performance at the ROCKPAGE.net Benefit on youtube. Good times!

Dave, it's MUCH harder to get people to shows these days than it was 5 or even 10 years ago. I have noticed that people have better musical tastes nowadays!

To CV and the SSB - The "Ophelia" dedication to me was freakin' cool, man! That's one of my favorite Band tunes!
Keep on keepin' on,
