Post by floodcitybrass »

Really awesome stuff.
You got
Guitar
Banjo
Washboard/coffee cans
tuba
Trombone
Coronet
Chic singer

sitting in a semi circle in New Orleans, no microphones, working for tips

It doesn't get much better than this. Love it!

That is the best sounding pea-shooter I've ever heard.

I'm digging the washboard solo too.
"Turn it down!"
"What?"

I was in the French Quarter of a week a couple of years ago. I gave a street musician a couple of bucks and he let me play his guitar on a street corner for a few minutes. It was a great experience. Jackson Square has interesting street performers all day.
You can put kittens in the oven, but that don't make 'em biscuits.

back in the mid 90's I was in New Orleans and it was awesome. You walk down the streets and all of the clubs had their doors open. As you walked by the music poured out into the streets. The best Blues you would ever want to hear. A great experience.
