2 Guitars In Need Of... A BASSIST!! Beginners Welcome!!

We are (2) guitar players looking for a bassist and drummer. Not looking to gig...just want to jam. We improvise most of our playing and are looking to record some soon. Looking for a bass player and a drummer to help fill out the sound and see what we can come up with. We are pretty sick of playing with the Digitech drum beats and NO BASS...We are not beginners but we are NOT pro's either. So I guess we are intermediate. Anyway, if your a bassist and a drummer just starting out and are tired of "playing" with yourself, let us know. We play every Tue. and Wed. Nights in my basement....7pm to WHENEVER....Let's Jam and see what happens...THANKS!!

I know I just "Bumped" today but...
We ARE not in a working band. We are just 2 guy's playing guitars to the best of our ability. We welcome beginners because we all can grow together...but if someone that's experienced is gracious enough to play with us it will help us learn MORE...And trust me we want MORE!!

I am 17, I have played with a Nashville recording artist, I am in high school but i play for the Penn State jazz band, I have been playing drums for 14 years, have all professional equipment, very versitile in all styles, and i always like to have fun.

Just curious where in altoona?

I've been playing bass now for about six months and have really been getting into it.

I'm no pro but Im not a beginner either....

What kinds of music do you guys play? Say for instance the last ten songs you played off the top of your head?

I started playing with a group of local people around last may.. we jammed 2-3 times a week for 2 hours each time and that lasted until the second week in december.

I was kinda crappy when I started but I did improve a good bit with them... problem is some of the guys quit and the ones left just really don't jam anymore.

I'm lookin to start jammin again with people in the area...

id be up for jammin sometime. I go to jam nights all the time, I'm not that great, was in a band for about a year, been playing bass for almost a year and a half. Right now I'm working on getting my amp fixed, but depending on where in altoona, I'd be up for jamming sometime
