How is everyone doing with their resolutions?
Esa, Sciarello, Red, April:
Have you Quit Smoking??? I have and so far doing great...
Inversion, was curious...have you quit as well, but when you said "quit smoking just cigarettes I'm hoping you're smoking some great weed about now?
Hal, are you still chewing snuff (Ewwww), and you're not playing with youself RIGHT NOW are you? I swear you will go blind...
songsmith, if you are reading this you are spending too much time online, and have failed miserably...
JP, was that you I saw in Wal-Mart buying panties the other day?

No, ZappasWife, I have not been inside a WalMart since my declaration. I did drive past the plaza once.

I think I can stick with this resolution pretty solidly. One time, when I was a kid, I bought a cassette recorder at J.C. Penney with my saved up allowance money. The thing didn't work, so I took it back and got a replacement. It didn't work, either, and when I returned it, the sales clerk at the counter took it and put it right back on the floor with the good product! (My mother happened to be with me, and raised holy hell until the clerk gave me a full refund.) I vowed then I would never shop at J.C. Penney again. And guess what? Over 30 years after that happened, I still haven't spent a cent at J.C. Penney! Boy can I hold a grudge! (I might lift my boycott someday, if I ever see anything there worth buying...)

she might have curbed the clove habit, but i passed her on the way home last night & her lip was packed full of chaw! She might lose her teeth from it, but she'll have the whitest lungs in blair county. rock on skoal sister!

I am on my last pack ... I went back to work the third and had rough time (they had me doing a three man job myself) and bought a pack. It was either have a cigarette or kill some one .. I find it to be the only way to "Calm" me down if I get mad. I guess I will have to find other means ...

The thing that worries me the most is that I find it impossible for me to drink a beer and not smoke. If I can get past that I know I can quit.

Umm... me...quit...smoking....uh..yes! Yes I did! Now if I can only convince my hands to quit smoking...

Actually, I did cut back alot for awhile. I had bronch really really bad. But it's rough when your man smokes and won't quit...when you're in a bar nightly.... beer and smokes... pool and smokes...

I'm quite proud of me though, I dropped the habbit of automatically lighting up when I step foot in a car. Now it's usually 15-30 mins later. And...well... the one home from work at the school don't count either!

My wife smokes, refuses to quit, but it never affects me when I'm in the process of quitting.

Chew the nicorrette, avoid beer and drink mixed drinks only, and you'll do fine.

Day 5 for me.

I don't drink beer, I drink mixed drinks. Unless I'm in the mood for beer. I was getting my beer shwerve on this week doing the ABATE Poker Run thingy ::nudges y'all to go check it out in "available" section here::

And I don't depend on you to make me quit. It just helps when you're not around all that all the time. We're out at a bar most of the time so it's hard.
