Psychedelic/Blues rock band

Is anyone interested in doing a blues rock project, with maybe some psychedelic stuff as well? I've been trying to find people for a thrash band for quite awhile, but while I wait for things to work out for that I thought it might be cool to play some of the other music I'm into.

We're 16 and 17, and are able to practice in the Hollidaysburg/Altoona area.

I play guitar, I got my buddy playing bass, so that leaves a drummer and a singer, and possibly another guitarist, but not sure yet.

We're gonna be doing The Doors, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Cream, early Rush (probably just off their first album, like Working Man), the Stones, and maybe even some Aerosmith, AC/DC, and Nugent.

your age really conflicts with you finding any musicians at the bare min you need to be 18 to play bars.

True but there are other places to play than in bars so it's okay with us.

when I was 37,Our rythym guitarist was 16. we played quite a few bars with him..if his parents weren't there,sum1 over 21 had to assume responsibility for him(usually me). may have been lucky? maybe owners were just cool? maybe something to do with the place serving food? who knows. we always aked when booking & like I said,either his dad or I assumed responsibility for him,no one ever had a problem with it.

Cool. I've played in places like 30 Something before... Not sure if that's considered a bar or not, and it was before 9 o'clock so that may also have something to do with it.

We haven't recorded anything... Just wanted to get together with a couple other musicians and play some classic rock and like blues rock stuff. See how it goes. I was in a band for a little over a year, so I am semi-experienced. Just wanna get rockin again
