Mama Corn seeks mandolinist or fiddler

Post by songsmith »

Due to the ever-popular "artistic differences," Mama Corn is looking for a new member... we need a mandolinist and/or fiddle-player for our bluegrass/jam/whatever band. We play traditional BG, 2nd generation BG, some gospel BG, Dead stuff, and sometimes even venture into obscure Pink Floyd, CSN, Sabbath, or "whatever." We play mostly bluegrass festivals and public events statewide in the summer, and nightclubs in the winter, and have been busier than ever. We're literally halfway through tracking our first full-length album, and have some lofty goals in the coming months, including a road trip to the Southwest, and possibly even Europe. We're entering our 5th year as a band.
You'd need:
Adequate instrument. Adequate transportation to rehearsals and shows. A kind and outgoing personality. Chops (no beginners, please). Vocals a plus, but certainly not necessary. A background in bluegrass is also a plus, though most mandolinists and fiddlers already have that.

If you are this person, or know this person, please PM me here! Thanks!--->JMS

Johnny I can't play the fiddle but my wife says I could be eye candy...

I would hold a fiddle or any other instrument...

Good luck, almost saw you guys the other day...

I am thinking the everyman festival or whatever it is called... See you then Bro!
