Welcome to the 'Page! I don't know of anything else like it, locally or even nationally, for such a lightly populated area... big cities have boards like this one, but they're not near as busy, or as friendly. There's a very cool cooperative vibe among local muso's over the last few years, and this site has everything to do with it. We do the occasional benefit jam (hey aren't we due to pay some bills soon?) and those are something you don't want to miss, and this is the best place for networking and band info as well.

I'm a keyboard player. I just recorded some tracks with a band for their upcoming CD (see if you can guess who it is). I'm just now getting interested in the local scene and someone said that this was a good page to go to.

hey don, I am new here also, the difference between us is that I am a bar owner looking for musicians and am a little illiterate when it comes to the total music scene. I just took over the place october 1st and sticker,sever, & a couple of other bands told me to come here for some education and help. so far so good.
