I like Justin Bieber. I think Paul had an audition with him but he had to move away and go to school to learn stuff. Then he missed us and came back and forgot how to play his bass. Im gonna go with Buck Cherry being a horrible band. I HATE the guy's voice. The song "Crazy Bitch" makes me wanna put a nailgun to my temple and see how many nails I can fire off before I die.

I admit, the band is popular. Thats not saying much at all though. Rap is popular too. Most people dont know whats really good. People will like anything as long as they can do that funny shoulder shuffle dance with a drink in their hand. Its hilarious watching people "dance" to bands. Everyone does something that looks like a lazy drunken rick roll. I love it.

That's what I thought. And this is in no way a knock on you....but musicians hear music differently than those who don't play. And let me explain......
Average listener.....hears choruses
musicians.......hear the words and the context and how it's applied

Average listener....hears a hook and a beat and if they can move to it or not.
musicans......disect the hook and figure out what they are doing

Average listener.....is typically easily impressed as long as you have a chorus that is catchy, and can remember basically the ONLY part of that song 5 minutes later.
musicians.....we hear it and go WOW....or we hear it and go oh

Average listener....would consider Dream Theather an eplielptic audio seizure....yet label Nirvana as musical genuises
musicians.....we hear Nirvana and go WTF?!!!!

So, I just listened to this song, I thought I had heard it before, but it turns out I hadn't.

Its probably the worst Buckcherry song that I have heard. No discernible hook, meandering guitar riffs shoehorned into random places. The lyrics are a slight improvement over some of their past efforts, in that you won't have to be embarrassed to play the song in front of an all age audience.

That said, I like Buckcherry, I think the singer has one of the best straight-up rock and roll voices that I've heard in years. Most of their past songs had pretty driving hooks.

This one seems like mostly filler. The only reason it will get popular is because the chorus is like 4 words long and easy to remember.

And before you ask, I don't really give a damn if bands I like sell more records than buckcherry.

Buckcherry is small potatoes compared to teen pop stars and rap dudes. And I'm not going to tell you that you should like Britney Spears because she sold lots of records. (is Britney Spears still remotely relevant? I can't think of someone else off the top of my head)

As far as Buck Cherry goes... meh. I don't hate them but would prob never buy anything they released. Too normal for me.
