O.k lets see who the real men are on here lol .. I want to know your ultimate guilty pleasure song..

Me? It is no secret that I am huge Lionel Richie fan, I liked him with the Commodores and I liked him solo, I still listen to him quite a bit, except for one song. So, in that respect his song "Hello" would be my ultimate guilty pleasure song. It is also like I said, the only one of his songs that I do not listen to that often either. There is some history behind it.

When I first met my wife, I made cassette tape (Anyone remember those?) for her. It contained that song on both sides, over and over and over and over again. So I guess you could say that if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be married today lol ..

Toni Basil's cheer leader song, "Mickey". That song is sooo catchy, it gets in my head and I cannot stop humming it to myself. It does have a good memory associated with it too, when that song came out, my college basketball National champions team (U. of Scranton) had a great forward named Mickey Banas. Of course the hugest cheer throughout the game was singing and clapping along to that song.

Interesting note, I rented "Easy Rider" over the weekend, and lo and behold, Toni Basil was in the movie.

Hey...I ain't afraid to admit I like some corny stuff. Here's a good one: "I Can't Decide" by the Scissor Sisters. Just a plain silly, fun song.

I played it for Keith Reynolds once and I think it knocked him unconscious for a few days. Wonder if he forgives me...

In the bet you did not know category. The song, Mickey, was actually a remake of a song called Kitty by British group Racey. Toni Basil kept the music and arrangement and slightly changed the lyrics. Interestingly, Racey had a string of hits in Great Britain and other countries but never released Kitty as a single. Tony Basil's "Mickey" version reached #2 in Great Britain and #1 in the U.S.

Being married for 19 years, I would have to say, "You're The Inspiration" by Chicago. It was our wedding song and I still sing to it once in a while just to remember it.
We chose that song because of the way things happened for us. I was stationed in Germany and had been discharged and actually was planning on marrying a German girl. She was back her and had gotten engaged. Long story short...I ended up coming home and within a year we were married. The beginning of that song pretty much sums up our lives...so that is why we used it. There are a lot of other guilty pleasure songs like that for me as well, but that is the main one!!!
