It's hard to believe anyone could be THAT much of a butt plug. Almost makes me think he was doing it on purpose just to piss people off. What a mental furball.

I just wanted to say for the record that I wasnt Metalrules.
Apparently he joined in 2004 and that was a year before I ever came to PA. I didnt get imported from MD until 2005, and found out about rockpage from Music Emporium when I was there the very first time. I bought a Grimm cd that day too on the suggestion of the guy working. What a day that was! Later that day, "SpellboundByMetal" was created and most of us know the rest of that story.

Come home, read the sh*t that falls out of his brain and onto the keyboard......and just tear into him. Instant cure for a bad day!!witchhunt wrote:Seriously, does anyone really give a shit?

I thought it would be funny to look back on one of Rockpage's most infamous trolls. I'm not trying to provoke any deep thought, just some laughs and "remember whens."Seriously, does anyone really give a shit?
Anyways, to answer the question of "Who was Metalrules?" - He was some guy who claimed to be a student from Berklee. He and his partner had a forum called the Grimes Songwriting Board or something to that effect where they critiqued really shitty ametuer songwriters. The forum seemed to be more of just a vehicle for them to fluff their egos than actually help people become better lyricists.

The "x_Lazerz_and_EnerGY_x" vegan chick is my all-time favorite, still. I wrote her a special poem once that still makes me smile when nobody's around. The little metalhead kid early on was fun, too... he told us old losers how it was! Then his band played one show and done, and of course, he disappeared. He once threatened me with bodily injury
and PMed me John Stevens' name and address. He had looked me up. Well, he actually listed the address of someone with the same name, a rather large truck driver for Gallikers. I actually know the guy, so I told him go ahead!
Good times, good times.
