GTR was a supergroup founded in 1985 by ex-Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett and Yes and Asia guitarist Steve Howe. The band name came from an abbreviation of "guitar". Besides Hackett and Howe, GTR featured vocalist Max Bacon (ex-Moby Dick, Nightwing and Bronz); bassist Phil Spalding (ex-Bernie Torme, Toyah, Mike Oldfield and Original Mirrors); and American drummer Jonathan Mover (ex-Marillion, later of Steve Vai fame).

Who remembers this Canadian band and this 80s tune? I tried to find the actual video but had to settle for just the audio track.

Actually, Mutt Lange (producer) is the one who put that on Rock Of Ages. While recording Pyromania, they got bored with the simple one, two, three...so Mutt would come up with unusual phrases in place of the numbers.
According to Mutt, and Def Leppard, it's just a rumor that it actually translates into anything, because Mutt made it up on top of his head.
Don't ask, I'm a Def Leppard geek. Met them four times. Haha...

This is the music video that made me want to be in a band when I was a little kid.

Does anybody remember the group Glass Moon from the early 80's? I re-discovered them after relocating to Raleigh about 5 years ago. They are originally from Raleigh.

I do remember them. They aren't a bad band, you don't hear much about anymore. The lead singer always reminded me of Dudley Moore for some reason.Marsman365 wrote:Does anybody remember the group Glass Moon from the early 80's?
