Not sure, but the error on their site is a 500 server error. Not good.
BTW, pamusician.com is not the website for Pennsylvania Musician Magazine. Their website is at http://pamusician.net.

ya i know (on both counts) just wasn't sure if they abandoned the site due to all the junk posts, or if they were actually having some kind of prob. just keeping tabs

I don't know, ive been wondering too. I know that they dont have much of an administrator. I have to admit tho, this is one of the best run sites ive ever seen, good job Ron, keep it up!
pamusician.com is a poorly operated site, a lot of junk posts and jerks that get on there and make it a hassle for everyone else. The admin hardly touches the site. I offered a few times to take over the administration of the site, but i guess the guy didnt feel like handing it over, and yea, 500 server errors tend to make the person running the website very unhappy. The whole database must be shut down completely or be overloaded with junk and very erronous.

I agree 100% Staceman. Linux, Apache, PHP, and mySql are free, stable, and secure. I'd never trust this site to Windows based servers.Staceman wrote:Oh, and I see that they use Microsoft server software. I'm surprised the site lasted as long as it did with no admin there to apply security patches.
Apache all the way baybeeee!
