I had the pleasure of meeting Van Stephenson in the early 90's when he was with Blackhawk. I remember him saying he was born in Altoona, but his family moved south when he was young.

Actually, he was born in Ohio. I remember when he died; the radio also said that he was born in Altoona.

Some of mine that were a huge part of my life back in my teen years...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE4FHolkO94 Maiden - 2 Minutes To Midnight

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTD1QW3SM60 Rush - "Xanadu" from the Exit Stage Left DVD

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7P1d8BVvY-I Van Halen "Unchained"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5W2IpVM ... re=related Yes "It Can Happen" from the 90125 album. (That record and Rush's "Exit Stage Left" spent the most time on my turntable throughout the 80's)
Dood...

Here is a video from 1984 for the song "Girls" by Dwight Twilley. Tom Petty sang backup on this song but notice the Tom Petty look-a-like girl in the video singing his parts. This is the uncensored video that did not air on MTV. The version that aired was the same except for the few seconds of nudity. I played this song back in 1984.
