Lost a father-in-law to skin cancer and have an uncle who is dying from it. Skin cancer is brutal. The pain is unbearable. It can be very aggressive and sometimes when it is found, it is too late.

Years ago I was working in Lewistown and covered a girls basketball tournament in which Cowher's youngest daughter played in. Met her by chance .... seemed like a nice lady. I am not a Steelers' fan but this is sad.
Having talent is one thing....what you do with it is something else

That definitely explains why he just up & quit coaching.

That's sad, I keep picturing all of them (Bill, his wife & daughters) when they won Super Bowl XL. Such a happy memory for them.
