I have a GR-1.Used the hell out of it for years.Awsome writing tool.Love it.

They're really cool. They're really good at tracking, so you better have clean technique or it will sound like caca. Not saying you have bad technique, Chad...just giving a heads up on how sensitive their response is.

I used to have a GK-3/GR15 set up and I really liked it.

The one thing that model wouldn't do was track chords when you lightly strummed them. Aside from that, putting different sounds on different strings and mixing them in with the regular guitar sound allowed for some awesome and unique sounds. I used to put a good bass sound on the low E, a key pad on the A and D, and bell sounds on the G, B and high E. Whoa!

I know where my old set up is and I keep trying to buy it but to no avail. I think I paid $1300 for it in 1988.

Someone from rockpage had a synth guitar kinda like that at the Antique Depot. I didn't get their name. It was a pretty fun instrument!
