Chemlab's pretty strange. And of course, Naked City's pretty out there (bondage jazz, as I call it).
Geezer's (bass player of Black Sabbath) Black Science album is pretty out there. It's not avant-garde or anything, but a lot of the subject matter deals with Area 51, aliens, and government conspiracies. I always feel like I'm living in an Orwellian novel when I listen to that CD.

I would have to agree with Nick, that Tom Waits stuff is crazy. It's the kind of music that would probably make you go insane if you were to have a bad trip while listening to it...you gotta hear it.

That's a great album, as is the first one (under the "g//z/r" name).bassist_25 wrote: Geezer's (bass player of Black Sabbath) Black Science album is pretty out there. They're making a third one, supposed to be out within the first few months of next year. Same singer from Black Science, should be good.
I don't even think thats music, its like noise. It sounds like its supposed to be native american sounding or somthing? I think I just heard on the radio yesterday the reports that investigated Lennon also questioned Yoko's singing ability, haha.esa wrote:::crings:: that's not wierd... that's just plain damn scary!!!!Ron wrote:Yoko Ono

I really dug Black Science (never heard the first album though I've always wanted to. Didn't it feature the singer from Fear Factory?).

The whole cd is insane. Just when you think they can't go any further, they do. The last track on the cd has a part that is the most convincing Death imitation that I've ever heard. If I didn't know that Chuck was dead, I would have sworn that he guested on the track.RobTheDrummer wrote:Checked out that crotchduster stuff...I find it more funny than wierd. Just some wacko's being themselves lol.

Funny that some of you (probably many of you including myself!) think Yoko Ono quite strange when actually her mentor who sometimes performed with her was a composer that is respected for his strangeness. Mentioned on the other thread as John Cage.

Brutal guy. I always liked his finishing move fatality on the the first Mortal Kombat game he starred in, where he punched the other guy's head right off; what was it- forward, forward, forward, high punch?ZappasWife wrote:Funny that some of you (probably many of you including myself!) think Yoko Ono quite strange when actually her mentor who sometimes performed with her was a composer that is respected for his strangeness. I always liked Baraka, myself. He had that awesome sword move that would just dice anyone that got too close. Of course the downside is that any missle-type attack, such as Reptile's spit or Kitana's cys, could counter it. I also dug the 4 armed chick from MK3; she was bad-ass.

Ah yes, Baraka from MK2, with the cheap move extraordinairre. So of course he was my favorite character to use and ultimately rule with.bassist_25 wrote:I always liked Baraka, myself.
