DROPOUT HIGH MP3s

Post by DropoutHighRock »

Hey everyone, we just got done in the studio with Bill Filer (audibleimages) recording our first song. Please take a listen at http://www.purevolume.com/dropouthigh and also if you're bored you can check out our website at http://www.dropouthighrock.com. Thanks everyone. A little opinion would be nice. Be gentle.
I swear by my wrists that we're better than this,
its much more to me than words in a notebook.

I went to the purevolume site, & only saw 1 mp3... but, I dig it. It's got a great opening... somewhere in somewhere around Digger-ish to Sum 41-ish... but then it goes into stuff all it's own. Kinda reminds me of some other bands that I can't bring to mind right now. I dig the harmonies on guitar & vocals, and I'm a succer for poppiness, which it has... whether you're going for it or not...

All in all, it makes me wanna hear more. Keep up the good work.

sounds like you guys would do well at a punk rock show and have the potential of getting a fanbase of local punk fans, but i honestly don't see the appeal of pop punk. keep doing what you like and best of luck to you guys... you are solid at what you do, but don't let pop punk stay stagnant... this genre hasn't evolved much and it desperately needs to, maybe you guys can push it a step forward. keep at it! rock hard!
