Les Claypool in Greensburg last night!

Post by Riggs »

Wow! what a show! If you're a Claypool fan and you've never seen him live, you must. electric cello + no guitar = AMAZING! He even broke out the wham-ola and the resonator bass. He jammed out tunes from most of his various projects.....i believe The Fungi Band was who we was jamming with. The only thing i think would have been better is if it was in a venue without seats. He is someone you want to be up front for. Anyways, check him out if you get the chance.

Great show. Not having a guitar was great. This tour he is on now, some of the nights the encore was Spirit Of Radio. That not being the encore is my only complaint with the show. I thought the Hot Head Show was really good too.

We stuck around for about 45 min. What a stand up guy, there was probably 20-30 people outside and he took pics and signed autographs for every single person.

He is about the same height as I am. I was leaning in a little...didn't wanna invade his space too much. It was surreal man, I was playing it cool on the outside but I was jumping up and down and geekin' out on the inside.
