Help us raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis.

Post by Xotlom »

Dear RockPage Community,

A friend of mine, Tim Surkovich, who is currently suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, needs your help to raise funds and awareness towards Multiple Sclerosis research and treatments.

All you have to do in order to contribute significantly to his cause and that of around 500,000 cases diagnosed in the United States alone is to watch a YouTube video in its entirety...including credits and all. It must be watched completely for it to count and for them to get financial contributions towards the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

This video was created by his son who is committed to raise awareness about the condition in hopes to bring a cure to his biggest hero in life, his dad.

Please help them by watching his video or in a worst case-scenario simply loading it in your computers and letting it run to its completion. There is still something valuable to be learned by actually watching this heart-touching story.

Anticipated thanks, to those who can spare the time to watch this video!

Here is the video:

Done. I haven't see Tim a quite a few years, since his kids were still just munchkins. He was always extremely supportive and enthusiastic during the Sauce Monster years. He should be really proud of his boy for this (I'm sure he is). If you talk to him tell him Greg says hello and wishes him well.

Kyle did a great job on the Video...have heard about it just haven't seen it till now....TJ is an amazing man who obviously raised great kids...from the Sauce Monster days, the Bon Secours golf league days and just the days I was provided the opportunity to hang out in the Sunroom at his handcrafted Bar and knock back a few Drafts, I've considered myself lucky to be able to know a truely Great man....support this cause and this awesome guy...Take Up The Fight!

This is the perfect forum for things such as this! It amazes me how the musicians of our local community come together to help so many people in need. There must be a correlation between musicianship and humanitarianism, for the two are intertwined. Since the conception of this site, ‘you’ have contributed to a TON of events benefitting just about every imaginable cause. The way Rockpager’s donate their time and talents at a moment’s notice has always impressed me.

I’ve known Tim for a long time now, and I’ve personally witnessed the decline in his health due to his battle with Multiple Sclerosis. It’s really difficult to watch your friend, your brother, fight a disease that is currently incurable. It SUCKS to see this guy being escorted by a service dog… to see a guy so passionate about music, and drumming, incapable of playing. MS has robbed him of his interdependence and has stricken him with numbness and loss of feeling in his fingers.

I really hope that each of you can take a few minutes out of your day to watch this video. It’s an opportunity for you to learn a little more about this disease, and to get a glimpse into the life of one affected by it. I implore you, please, join in this cause.

Take up the fight!

All the best,
Randy Sciarrillo
