Has anybody seen this Starz original 13 part mini-series? Its free if you have Starz on demand. Its kind of a single-X-rated version about the gladiator Spartacus similar to 300 in production. The disclaimer sums it up...
“Spartacus is a historical depiction of ancient Rome’s society and culture. The intensity of the sensuality, brutality and language is to suggest and authentic representation of that period.” Yep, sex, blood and some hard rock/metal soundtracks.
For instance...I roflmao when Spartacus's owner came home to the villa really pissed after having had a bad day...

Yeah...I forgot to mention Lucy. I thought she fit this part pretty well...at least better than Number 3 in BSG.ToonaRockGuy wrote:I love the series, although it always bothers me that Lucy Lawless is in it. She only got the gig because her husband, Rob Tapert, is the producer. I hate that crap. But the show is awesome.

I watched the first episode out of curiosity. I had free Starz for 3 months so figured WTF, I'll check it out. Ended up paying ato keep Starz after the freebie ran out mainly to watch Spartacus. Ended up watching every fuggin episode. Quite entertaining and addictive.
Wondering what will eventually happen with Season Two. (Spartacus) has lymphoma and is questionable for future episodes and possibly facing death. Haven't heard anything else on this since they announced postponing Season Two for the potentially necessary script rewrites.

Love that show. My wife likes it because she gets to see buff guys and their dongers. She was saying that they always show women naked but never men, that we started watching Spartacus and she said she's never seen so many in her life. Production has been halted for awhile because Andy Whitfield, the actor who plays Spartacus, was diagnosed with nonhodgkins lymphoma and was undergoing treatments. I think they have resumed filming now though. Looking forward to season 2.

Lynch - Don't wanna burst the male nude bubble thing going on for your wife but, the dongers shown were not real. They were cgi scripted in (or some similar method) during post production. Though I have to admit that they did a helluva job making them appear authentic.
Similar post production technique was used in cases where"lips" would have been (highly) visible on those mighty fine lady pockets. .... kinda like airbrushed out/over in those instances so they didn't show on the final product.
Anyway, you don't have to share that piece of info with the wife if you don't want to. I suggest letting her watch with her previous enthusiasm. That is, unless she begins making negative comparisons of said dongers to yours. Then you have "ample ammunition" at hand. "Oh honey, those are not their real dongers. It's a movie technician's trick. They are scripted in post production."
My wife was also hooked on the show as much and probably more than I was. It was her that said after the first episode "now they're going to make me want to pay to keep Starz just so I can watch Spartacus." I was in total agreement so it was an easy, unanimous decision.
