I read that the Grand Ole Opry was affected by the flood as well, and that some artifacts were damaged, as well as furnishings and the stage.

Shame to hear that. While I'm not a country music fan, I visited the Ryman Theater for the sake of music history & appreciation. Stood on the stage and thought about all the legends who played there and paved the way for the genre.
It'll just smell a little mustier now.

Gibson didn't fair too well either. They had some flooding in the buildings. Of course, Epiphone received little or no damage.

I hope Vince Gill didn't lose the Lloyd Loar mandolin Amy Grant gave him... It's one of the finest-ever examples of the instrument. That one alone is worth $150,000. --->JMS

They are having a concert for the victims of that on Sunday night. Most of the top country stars are going to be performing.
