The Pacific - Who seen this?

Post by f.sciarrillo »

I am a huge lover of Band Of Brothers. So when I heard that Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg were coming out with a new one, I was excited. I have to say that I am not disappointing. This show is just fantastic. Has anyone else seeing it and what do you think of it?

I don't have HBO either, so I just been downloading them. I am also anxious for the dvd as well.

Check out "The War" by Ken Burns. My favorite.

This was the really long PBS documentary series right? Its probably the best one I've ever seen. It's highly recommended.

I'm not sure if it aired on PBS. Probably did. I have the DVD's. 6 discs, I think. Very interesting and informative. I like how he picked veterans from Smalltown, USA and followed their stories.

All the Ken Burns videos aired on PBS. His Civil War and baseball series is up there with the best as well. He also did one on Jazz ...
