Let me preface by saying I have known Bobby for a long time and have always been impressed with his ability to play and not just play but play so solid while singing, I however have only known him as drummer for Hurricanes , Blues / Southern rock etc... Sat. night I watched a Bobby that I had not seen ... Metal Bobby !!! and I have to say it Bobby Fu _ _ in ROKKED !!! Double bass like a machine, and fast as hell with the fills , just amazing solid Spot ON drumming, Bobby I have ALWAYS had nothing but respect for you and your talent but now in addition to the RESPECT I want to say Kudos Brother , you are bad ass !!! and it's an honor to call you Friend .

I too have only heard the stories of " Bobby the Mad Drummer " with the lightning fast double kicks on the bass drum. Saturday night I witnessed it first hand. Man was is great to see. Did anyone else notice the shit eating grin on his face?

Just goes to show that a musician's choice in genre doesn't always show off all of his talents....Bobby is and always will ba an area drumming legend.

Jammed with Bobby years ago. KILLER drummer. I was suprised to see how brilliant his blues chops were when we did a show together last summer. Great player and cooler guy.

They don't call Bob "Thunderfoot" fer nothing! Bob is actually a huge influence on my drumming, and whenever I play with Felix or get a chance to drum in front of Bob, I try to do something to make him proud. Good guy, and a total badass drummer.

I never see Bobby without, at some point(s), saying to myself (or others around me) WOW, that was cool !

He lays down great groves and all his fills are tasty and EVERYTHING he plays fits the music well !

He also has the greatest FEEL for the music, no matter what the genre is. I'm still trying to learn Bobby's "Blues" Feel because I admire it so much.

Watch the Hurricanes do their cover of "Green Grass and High Tides" and you will see Thunderfoot in full metal mode. He still uses those metal chops on some tasty Southern rock tunes or their own song "Issues".

Wow, thanks Bobby Lee and everyone for the nice comments, thanks also for coming out to the Wallack benefit. I was hoping i had one more metal night in me...lol. When i played with Maim i was in my 20's, if i had to play metal every weekend again there would have to be an oxygen tank close. Ive always loved the powerful feeling playing metal gave you, nothing like it.

I have to add that speaking from a bass player's perspective, Bobby is a kick ass rythm section partner. He really lays down a fat groove! It is nice to see some recognition for a true pro. But just as importantly; you should see him do "The River Dance" !

I realized I've played with Bobby a bunch over the years, from the Old Sab's days onward. I can remember when he told me he was playing blues with Felix, I was like, "WHAT?!!"

I'd never heard him play anything but the heaviest stuff he could find. When I heard him, though, it was pretty obvious that he could play whatever he wanted. I agree with Pat, he deserves the accolades.--->JMS

It is about time Bobby gets recognition for his drumming skills, but he deserves more from me...He covered my ass many times when he and John Scarphone worked the door at my club,, The Palace...I hired as many musicians as I could back then along with Chris Maurer,Rick Wertz ...I was playing in a band with Felix Kos and Diana Clapper called Crazy Hearts at the time...Diana and I broke up and she started dateing John Giles(Guitar for Great Train Robbery),..end of band ...bummer...Felix, Bobby, and Diana`s ex, Jeff got together...Felix and The Hurricains formed.....I didnt know if Bobby could make the change from Heavy Metal to Southern Rock n Blues but he did....I`m very proud to be friends with Bobby and all The Hurricains...tom rhodes

Man I miss Chris Maurer... he just friended me on Facebook.... hus brother Kevin showed me some of my first guitar chords when he was my guitar teacher at Sacred Heart School.... He had graduated BGHS with my brother... How cool is that....

Music club. They really liked that Motley Crue song. Over and over with the Motley Crue song. But some chick got her boobs out once, so that was cool.

Actually, I played a lot of jams there, with some local guys that you'd brag about jamming with. And I've had my share of misadventures there, too.
