Rapid Fire Needs a gutiar
Were looking for a full time gutiar. Our buddy buck is leaving due to health reasons. Pm me for a set list
That really sucks about Buck, I hope he's OK. For any guitarists out there, these are really great guys who are serious about their music so don't hesitate to give them a shout. Hell, I'd do it myself if I wasn't already committed. Good luck guys. Let me know if I can help out in any way. Later.....................

Balance and equilibrium problems. Basically, it's like this:
I drive a truck for a living...great source of high noise levels. And being in a band does wonders for your ears, too. I wasn't as careful as I should have been, and all those nights of ringing ears after gigs seemed cool at the time...but not now. My right ear is damaged 25% below normal, and besides the tinnitus which I've had for years I've been developing headaches & dizziness. This is NOT a good thing driving a 40 ton truck down the road. I've lost work pulling over and waiting for these spells to pass (I'm not stupid enough to even attempt to drive like that).
The doctor believes the difference in hearing levels is affecting my perception of things, therefore my balance and equilibrium. In time he thinks my body will adjust and I'll be OK, but in order to do that he strongly suggests stepping away from the sources of the damage. Yes, I could wear earplugs...and I do have them...but it's a band-aid over a leaking wound. Like wrapping up a broken ankle and trying to keep running. I can do that with work...I have no choice. Have to make a living. And for the last two days, the earplugs have already helped. The band is actually the worse of two evils anyway and since it is a hobby and not a requirement, I have to make one of the worst decisions of my life and step away for awhile. The doc says after a little break, I can go back to it...but as long as I protect myself better from there on out. Better to come back good as new (almost...the damage will always be there) than slowly take myself out of the game for good...which he predicts will happen for sure - and I know he's right.
I don't want to see Rapid Fire fall...and neither do the other guys. We've worked really hard these couple years. I can tell you they're both top-notch dudes...professionals to the core while still having fun. When you're in, you're not just a member...you're a brother and they'll support you to the last unless given good reason not to. They're not crybabies, and don't take their toys and go home when things get rough. We've had our share of falling outs, and we've settled our problems and gotten right back to what we love...and that's the way it should be. All they ask is you give 100% & a great attitude.
I hate this in the worst way...but I'll be back. And when I do come back, it's gonna be with a vengeance. The silver lining to this dark cloud is I'll have time to brush up on my skills so I'll be ready to hit the stages again with a renewed passion.
