Yep. Though you see a lot of setups with the Wah last, generally it should be close to the guitar signal. You want to "Wah" then clean signal not a distorted one.
It's one of the only "effects" that should go before a distortion/OD pedal.

I use a Morley Bad Horsie 2, and I won't use anything else. If I want the "toned down" wah, I just hit the switch and if I want it wide & wild, let it alone. I love the "step on it's on, step off it's off" feature.
And it survives my vicious attacks on it gig after gig. When we do "Man In A Box" I slam that thing like I'm squooshing a bug. If you ever watch Steve Vai do "The Audience Is Listening" on the G3 DVD he's mashing that thing hard.

I have the Tremonti Wah, and I really like it. It has a db boost on it, you can add up to 20 db so the wah really cuts through. 20 db is bit much, 3-5 db is what I add. I'll never play with another wah.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.
Thanks for all the help guys. I got to break my pedal in on saturday and its freaking sweet. I've had other wahs in the past but they only lasted on my pedal board for a few months and got sold. The Tremontti wah kicks ass! Not having to push a button makes life so much easier. The only bad things are that you have to change the boost setting to use in on clean or it shatters your ear drums and the pedal is a bit too big. Its totally worth every penny though.
