Want to trade: Bass Rig for Guitar Rig

Post by MeYatch »

This is a Peavey Mark VI bass head, and an Acoustic 2x15 cabinet. I used this on local stages for a few years, and it makes plenty of volume.

I'm interested in trading for a guitar rig. It doesn't have to be huge, in fact I'd probably prefer it if it wasn't. I do have a Crate Powerblock Guitar head here, so I would also trade for a cabinet, preferably a 1x12, or something less than a half stack.

I would be willing to trade down and accept cash from you to make a deal. I am not interested in adding cash to a deal. I'm not going to play guitar out anytime soon, and probably not ever, so I just want something I can jam around the house with, and friend's can use.

I would sell the head or the cab seperately for $250 a piece, or $450 for both together. I will also entertain reasonable offers.

not really. Maybe for an electronic kit. I'm trying to save space.

You wouldn't happen to be a Billy Gould fan would you? A few months ago when I was on one of my Faith No More kicks, I was considering finding an older Peavey Mark head and a pair of 15s to try and get Gould's tone!

I may be getting in touch with you next time I come into central PA. I'd be interested in taking this rig off your hands.

Nope, pure coincidence.

Its been for sale on here for like a year, so I doubt I will have any trouble holding on to it for you.

Ok, well i need a decent bass rig for my band, i dont have a guitar rig..but i have some guitars..a dean vendetta, and a surf city strat. I also have 2 old jvc speaker cabs from like a home sterio system. They both have 12" speakers and we made a cord to use with a guitar amp.. They only last thing i have is a behringer vampire 120w amp. we were having problems with it, it was sounding like it was underwater lol, but it also has a 12" speaker in it, you could rip the head out, and use that as a cab.
