2010 Census

Post by DogAlpha »

Has anyone had to fill out the new forms?

If you did how did you like the questions?

I have family in rural areas fill some out and they where upset that the government was asking very personal questions. Also a fine of up to $5000 if you do not comply.

I thought the law was just to do a head count...? number in a household?

From what I heard they are asking about your insurance information, phone numbers and more things I think is my own business.

I don't think I like the government getting all up in my shit.

Just found the link... http://www.census.gov/acs/www/Downloads/SQuest09.pdf

Christ they want to know if I heat with wood? Where I work. What kind of business. Am I military? Mortgage payment? How many acres I own. When I worked, Where If. Education level?

I can't believe it.

There is shit on there I won't even tell my wife.

I for one don't think it is right. The FBI used the census during WWII to round up the (American)Japanese for the camps. What will it be for us the FEMA camps?

This is the shit about the government that scares me, like NAZI Germany, and makes me want to get off the grid and be like a gypsy or something.

That link is the questionnaire. I don't believe that is mandatory.

The actual census form is only 2 pages:

So the questionnaire is optional or something?

I know they answered all those questions down at the farm.

It says "Required by Law"?

Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

This is infuriating.

Apparently this is not optional. It is a frakkin' sample like Gallup might take. You are a lucky one out of six that got one.

The good news is that there is no record of anyone ever having formal charges brought. They are afraid that it would get challenged in the courts. If you don't send it in, they'll send another one and maybe follow up with one of their temp census workers.

If I get one, they can stick it up their ass, and if they bust my ass, we can talk about it with the Supreme Court.

I read the fine for this one is up to $250,000!

Questions 34 and 35 a very suspicious.

They want to know what times you depart and return from work and what mode of transport you use.

What the hell do they need to know that for? Perhaps so they know when to pick you up or grab you en route to and fro work I would think?

Also read that census takers are carrying GPS devices so they pinpoint your front door location.

HOLY BIG BROTHER!!!!!!

Kinda paranoid, no? Maybe they want to get an idea of traffic patterns so they know where DOT money is best spent, so you have a better commute. I haven't heard of any recent SS stormtrooper assaults on commuters. Of course maybe that's what they WANT me to think.  --->JMS

Kinda paranoid, no?

Yes... I am paranoid. I'll admit it. Dam I know they are recording my thoughts

I just remember back to a more private time(50s, 60s, some 70s) when you didn't have so much government involvement in your day to day life.

And I'm not talking just this particular form.

And I'm sure PenDot knows traffic patterns and usage without having to ask where the hell I am everyday. None of their freakin business.

Sorry for the Rant, must have watched too much Alex Jones Infowars this week.

It all boils down to this in my opinion. The government is not being policed anymore. They have free reign over the sheep. BAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Rise up and revolt.

They wouldn't do it if people weren't so f'in lazy. People won't fight it because they are too scared of the "what if's". They are too comfortable watching TV and thinking they are sticking it to the man by watching their favorite news channel. No one has any idea what its like to stand up to a corrupt government without fear of death or losing property.

Just fill out the frickin form. They aren't going to come take you away.

(and you shouldn't be scared if you aren't doing anything illegal anyway ;))
