Rock Page is everything I ever wanted! (N ur gonna want me)

HELLo all you party people! I just want to say that this site kick so much ass! it is exactly what I have been looking for. I want to introduce myself and tell a little about what I have been doing. My name is Aleesha I'm 23 and I have been DJing at my University covering all local original rock. I have also been directing conceptual music videos for artists. I am working with our university TV station on a Show called the BUZZ. We feature all of the live concerts that happen on campus, which coincidentally I have booked and promoted. I am going to be delving into the scene full force and I would love to get involved with others that are interested and involved in the scene. Are these shows posted? I want to come out as soon as possible so I can meet some of you. It's really all i do anyway I've been searching for good rock shows to go to most of the stuff Ive found is in Maryland but now I'll be in with the in so to speak. Thanks for the warm welcome!

The Rockpage Jams are posted whenever we have one. Usually, we get one together to raise money for a good cause. Then we get a venue set and all of us get together and jam together, and our bands do a song or two each on some community equipment.

There's nothing brewing at the moment, but you may want to check out the front page of Rockpage and hit the "Band Schedule" link. You'll find a detailed list of who is playing where and what date. Most of the bands here have a member or two who is on Rockpage. It's up to you to figure out who, though!!

You never did say what university you were at, though...keep in mind that while open for anyone in PA to use, Rockpage is generally based around Blair, Centre, Cambria, and Huntingdon counties. There are bands here from York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg, but they are few and far between.

I go to Shippensburg University. I ve been working with some people doing the same stuff you all are> Its based here in H-burg check it out www.roundtablepresents.com. the music is totally different though its all acoustic and jam band stuff but I'm a fan of that music too.
