Dude, he could have literally shat gold and farted rainbows right there on the podium and you would still be on here bitching. I didn't dig much of Bush W's policies, but I hold no personal animosity towards the cat. I haven't given Obama a free pass either, but God, you live to fucking whine about the guy. Aren't you like triple majoring in college, working at the same time, and raising a family? I didn't have time to criticize the President everytime he brushed his teeth in a straight line instead of a circlular motion when I was in college, and I only had one major and a part-time job.

You know me; I don't usually go for the ad hominem. Frank, I like you dude (not in that way  ), but we get it: Obama is ruining your life.

P.S. And cue flamewar between Hawk and Undercoverjoe in this thread.

The only thing any politician, no matter what party, ever does is blow smoke up your ass.

And if you think your favorite party is exempt, I've got a bridge to sell you....

I actually believe there are some politicians that want to do good for us. Obama is all about power, not about helping anyone out.

Strictly another Frank trolling thread. No viable content. Parroting Fox / Limbaugh and spew hate. We get it Frank. No need to start trolling threads every time Obama talks.

By the way Frank, you still never answered my questions. If you can't defend your position, change it .

I have more intelligent conversations with my four year old grandson. Although he will occasionally quote Sponge Bob. BUT he's smart enough to say where he got his quote. You never correctly say, "This is what Beck Said..." You just Parrot what you hear and pretend you're actually thinking. You fool no one but yourself. Chalk one up for the four year old.

He wants less pollution. You Republicans want less government intrusion in corporations, therefore MORE pollution. Yes, that's what relaxed regulations do.

He wants everyone to have proper health care. You put money ahead of human lives. So do all Republicans.

There are NO JOBS coming back from China, Mexico and Taiwan unless the American people want to work for $.50 a day. You have NO plan on how to create jobs. He wants to keep people working via a stimulus.

You wished the banks and Wall Street collapsed. Therefor everyone would loose all their savings, everything. He wanted to help the people by saving the banks and wall street.

You would have been happy if he left GM and Chrysler close, with every one who does anything related to them losing their jobs.

It's sad how deep your head is in the ground.

Tell me how much better the US would be by letting the banks collapse, GM and Chrysler collapse, Wall Street collapse. Oh Hell, I forgot, Rob, Joe and Frank might pay less taxes. And screw everyone else.

Every F'm time the Republicans (Reagan, Bush and GW for a few examples) scream at the top of their lungs that they are fiscal conservatives. Then they get in to office and spend like hell, increase the deficit and people like Frank don't even know it. Sad. How easy some of you are to fool. Vote Republican again, you've been fooled thrice, be fooled again.

..
What, exactly, IS his fault? I bet you can't tell me without a catch-phrase.

I LOVED when he looked at the Republican side of the room, and told them that simply saying "No" isn't an option any longer. I was hoping he'd flip them off. I'd have given him my entire paycheck if he flipped them off.
And when Fox's favorite activist judge, Sam Alito, shook his head and said, "Not true." So, "YOU LIE!" was already taken, I guess.
Look for Obama's approval ratings to increase. Last night, he started talking like a President. Reaching across the aisle is useless, it's high time he figured that out.--->JMS

If he started a thread every time Obama spoke, Ron would have to add a terabyte drive to the server just for his threads.

is that open for everybody?

Ok, I'll start . . .

I think that misleading the American people: transperency in Government.

This was something that would have been very easy to do, and would have been applauded by both sides, and we all should demand it from all our representatives. The fact that the administration basically laughed it off concerning the CSPAN/Health Care promise he made, should give you an idea of how much they care.

The 5 day waiting period, for the people to look over the bills before they voted, was a novel idea, and should be done, as much as poosible. Too bad that can't happen when you puposely work behind closed doors, and also admit that you don't even need to read the bill! Nice sheeplike approach.

The difference between me and you is that you get all wet and horny when he speaks. I get disgusted .. You find him as a turn on, I find him as a turn off. You think he is the Messiah, I think he is the anti-Christ. Well, I hope he is the anti-Christ ... Now if you excuse me, I have to get back to my Buddy Guy Cd. I am trying to learn a couple of his songs :)

Ron, how about adding more drive space for the ramblings of the Hawk.
Hate spewing ?

Where do you get that I think he is a messiah. Limbaugh speak. He just happens to want some of the same things that I do. No Democrat that I know ever saw him as a savior. That is strictly a right wing mantra. It started with a commercial during his campaign hinting to right wing nuts he might be the antichrist.

Now Limbaugh uses it regularly pointing out how disappointed the left is that he is not the messiah they thought he was. Guess what Frank, the left NEVER thought of him as any kind of savior, just a man who wants things that we think are good for the country.

BTW, don't you wish that GW got his way and privatized Social Security and Obama left Wall Street collapse. Every one's life savings gone instantly. You'd be one happy...

So don't put words/feelings in my mouth. I have proven your antichrist like attitude (Your money is more important than human life) And I have proven your lack of knowledge many times (No dificit when Bush left office  as one example).

Seems to me Christ said something about giving to Cesar what is Cesar making a point that money is not important to Him. Christ is of another world. Whereas keeping your money is the most important thing to you.

f.sciarrillo wrote:Also, he thinks too highly of himself. Telling ABC that he would rather be an outstanding one term Pres. than a mediocre two term Pres. Look at his poll results. A recent Rasmussen poll states that 65% of Americans think this country is heading in the wrong direction. 60% say that the next Pres will be a Republican. What does that tell you? maybe something along the lines of about 100 people think that Obama is the man .. Hmmm ..
So you have a problem with a man who would rather do 4 great years than 8 mediocre years ? No wonder you're a Republican.

The government is not run by polling. This is not a democracy. We do not have the people vote on every issue. We vote for people to represent us and it is their sworn duty to do what they think is best for the country. Sometimes I get so tired attempting to educate you.

The transparency thing relative to health care pisses me off too.
However, getting Health Care to everyone is more important (to me) than transparency. On the other hand...well...you love your money. If you see a man die because he had no access to a doctor, I hope you get comfort that you saved some money for yourself. BTW Christ will love you for that  .

f.sciarrillo wrote: I haven't listened to Limbaugh in over ten years, so what he says on his shows I couldn't tell you. What Obama is doing and where he is leading this country is not helping. Bailing out the banks was a big mistake because it showed that we reward errors. Where is the help for the small business owners? They are going out and having to lay off employees because these banks that us tax payers bailed out are giving the money to bonuses and not lending it. I do not agree with him making a bank pay for another banks failures. That is just another way of spreading the wealth.

Health should be fixed - I have said over and over again, that if they take out the public option, take out tax payer supported abortions, let insurance companies have more competition (let them have cross state line clients) and regulate the insurance industry.

Then you want us all to give all our money to pay for everything so the government can control everything. You apparently agree with the lazy people of this country who think that everything should be handed to them ... No wonder there is such a large percentage of people on welfare and disability when they don't need either ..
I see, you would like the banks to collapse with everyone who had something in them to loose it.

I haven't watched his speech yet but I've heard cuts of it. Seems to me he was offering help for small businesses. I guess your secret source didn't tell you that.

You say the banks aren't lending enough and giving out bonuses. Would you prefer some oversight ?

Why does the public option scare you ? You don't have to buy it. No one does.

"Across state lines" is so foolish. Each state has it's own insurance regulations (like you who quote the constitution want it). Now if one state is more relaxed on regulations, every insurance company can move their offices to that state and many people in other states would be worse off. and there would still be nothing to promote compitition.

If YOU were on a jury would you sentence to death a mother who had an abortion ? Another simple question you dart around everytime I ask it. Your last answer was you go by what a jury would say. Well what if you're on the jury?

You right wingers kill me. A jury can make life / death decisions BUT when it comes to money decisions they are too stupid to get it right. Tort reform = a jury can't be trusted to get it right. Money AGAIN...see a right wing theme here ?

I am glad to hear your liberal views that the insurance industry needs more regulations. But your Republican office holders will say "NO".

I am a die hard capitalist. I want the government to to it's job which is the general well being of our country. I'm willing to pay my fair share for that.
