Just like the title says. want an acoustic with electronics, a solid top, and descent action with acess to the upper register.
$200 - $400 used in Good condition.

not sure why you need a solid top.. but i have an ovation celebrity thin body for 185.

and a few acoustic solid tops.. non electric but easy to make electric.

please email mullnick@yahoo.com or call 414 6927, bob

would a nylon string work for you?

also have a parker a/e event series p8e .. solid cedar top and flamed maple back and sides.. very nice.. for 425.00

The top of an acoustic guitar is tbe soundboard.A solid top sounds better /fuller to my ears than an hpl top.thanks.

From my usual sales talk:

Solid soundboard--
Pro: Usually sound better (more open and woody) and sound gets better with time and play.
Con: Solid tops are more fragile and prone to problems arising from humidity and temp extremes. More expensive to buy.

Laminate soundboard--
Pro: Less expensive. Less fragile and "moody." Can still sound pretty good.
Con: How it sounds now is likely how it will sound 20 years from now.

Everything's a trade-off, and both types have some really good traits. There really isn't a wrong answer, especially with newer high-quality HPL acoustics.--->JMS
