Aguilar OBP-3, 3 band preamp with push-pull mid selector pot. (Three knobs, bass, mid(push-pull mid freq select), and treble). Pre-wired and setup for 18V (2 x 9v). I'm including 5 black Hipshot o-ring knobs (retail for $7.50 each, allen wrench for knobs included) and a long barrel stereo jack with the Aguilar. $120

Also if you're interested in the wiring diagram to see how you'd hook this up:
http://www.aguilaramp.com/pdf/support_wiring_obp3.pdf

I will also wire this u in a heavy duty aluminum enclosure (Hammond Manf. 1590BB-BK) as an external preamp with true bypass and an LED for $190

EMG 35DC, Volume pot, two screws, and connector for the pickup (no knobs): $50 *sold

EMG 35P4, Volume pot, two screws, and connector for the pickup (no knobs): $50

If you buy one of the pickups seperate, you'll need a tone pot for EMG pickups (if desired), a 9V clip, and a stereo jack that fits your bass to complete the install. (one of these: http://shop.donsmusiccity.com/p-1434-em ... -clip.aspx and you can get the vol/tone sets here: http://shop.donsmusiccity.com/c-182-pot ... -sets.aspx )

Are you gutting your Yamaha 4? If so, I got dibs on the Kahler!

If you're not completely gutting it, what are you replacing these with?

And folks, this is the ultimate setup. Active EMGs thru and Aguilar 3-band pre is one of the best configurations I've come across.

Not getting stripped, I just got ahold of a "vintage" '88 EMG bass humbucker. Putting that in at the bridge and filling the neck hole with wood.

And it would be a great upgrade for someone with EMG HZ pickups in their 4 string bass

How much just for the 35DC and plug wire with no volume pot or screws? I don't need the pot or screws.
