Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.
And now some better news!
Great news! Two marijuana-related ballot initiatives, one in Maine and one in a ski town in Colorado, won in voting booths on Tuesday.
By 59%-41%, Maine voted to become the third state to license nonprofit dispensaries to provide medical marijuana to qualified patients.
And by an overwhelming 73%-27%, Breckenridge, Colorado voted to allow adults over the age of 21 to possess up to an ounce of marijuana. The Breckenridge initiative was spearheaded by MPP grant recipient Sensible Colorado.

HARRISBURG - Pennsylvania held its first-ever hearing about medical marijuana on Wednesday morning.

That's right but don't take it for granted that it will pass in Pa. Remember, it's the squeaky hinge that gets the oil. You have to nag or email your representitives about this topic. This is a controversial issue. Should they vote for it, they are sticking their "Necks Out" and risk not being relected. They need your support. When the time comes, help them. Send them emails in support.DogAlpha wrote:HARRISBURG - Pennsylvania held its first-ever hearing about medical marijuana on Wednesday morning.

Opiates, the foundation for herion, have been used forever for medical purposes. Why shouldn't Pot be used also if it has medical potential and according to recent studies, it really does.
Last night, Gov. Jon Corzine (D) signed New Jersey's medical marijuana legislation into law. As a result, New Jersey is now the 14th state to protect seriously ill patients from arrest and jail for using medical marijuana with their doctors' approval.
The bill had been passed by the New Jersey Legislature on January 11, passing by 48-14 in the Assembly and 25-13 in the Senate.
The new law will not only protect medical marijuana patients from arrest and jail but also allows for the regulated dispensing of medical marijuana. When the law is implemented, it's likely that there will be at least six dispensaries for patients to obtain their medicine, two in each part of the state. Doctors will be able to recommend up to two ounces of marijuana to patients within a 30-day period.

Been a while since there was a weed thread
I hope they pass it, which they probably won't, but I think my fibermyalga could possibly qualify me for "medical" weed. It beats feeling the swelling of my hands and feet, the sense of being tired all the time and the rampant thoughts of suicide. Which all of these are side effects of that wonderful drug LYRICA. Im on 100 mg. My wife who is an LPN and works in a long term care facilty that the most they give out is 60 mg.
Go figure.... I WANT MEDICAL MARIJUANA!!!
