did anybody here try out any of that guitar computer software that you play different amps through your computer? and if so what brand is good and what brand to stay away from?

Guitar Rig. It's pricey, but it's also scary how accurate it is. a friend of mine in CA plugs his laptop into the PA system, he doesn't own an amp any more.

ya that is what i want, i don't play in a band or gig.. would be grat for home use, i'm sick of haveing a half stack, combo amp,etc.. in the house and really don't need it and can't turn it up unless the ole lady isn't home. I have had it all in my house from a peavey 5150 combo to a fender metalhead half stack that would fucking peel the paint from walls because it was so loud lol... i'm going to check into that guitar rig software..thanks
