Post by shell_shooter »

I was just wondering if you had any special winter projects for the long cold months ahead.

I am currently starting to tear down a Charvel model 4 for a restore Got my new neck last week and ready to go ,should keep me busy for a while.
Trying to decide on a color thou Some that come to mind are a dark purple a bright Yellow and several others but those are at the top at this moment.

Ha I'm working on a Charvel too but it's a Model 5. It's stock & in great condition for an '87. Just waiting for all the parts to arrive-Original Floyd Rose, Duncan JB & 59 with custom rings from fretsonthenet, anodized aluminum trem & control cavity covers to replace the plastic ones-also from fretsonthenet, brass sustain block & trem stopper from FloydRoseUpgrades & a D-Tuna. Not doing anything with the finish. It's Ferrari Red with black hardware, I love it just the way it is. This thing already plays like butter. Should be an awesome piece when finished-I can't wait!!!

Kinda funny but I just keep revamping the same guitar, put a warmoth neck on and getting rid of the humbuckers and back to single coils with a superswitch to mix some humbucker sounds in with the single coils.
Don't bitch to me about the economy while you're still buying Chinese products.

Tying a bunch of flies, writing some new songs, and eating post-op painkillers.

I've heard tales that you can catch a fly and put it in the freezer till he stops moving. Then take a long hair and tie it around him and when he warms up..."voila"...fly on a leash.

I saw it. Just can't leave'em in the freezer too long.

Just about any bug will become dormant in the cold. You could do it with bees too.
