All,

In this month's issue of PA Musician, Robin incorrectly wrote that I have left the Grimm to join Balistic and that Grimm is seeking a new bassist.

This is not true.

The facts were CORRECTLY reported in JP's column. I am performing select fill-in dates with Balistic as I am available until they find a new bass player. This activity fits in well with Grimm's scheduled hiatus.

Just wanted to set the record straight....hope you all come to see us at our Xmas show at Peter C's on December 17th!

I think it's time to come clean with the public. The Grimm has systematically designed a marketing strategy whereby rumor and innuendo will generate enormous interest in the band. The Hiatus and Kent's "departure" are all part of the grand scheme. This same strategy of disinformation and mysteriousness has worked well for Guns 'n' Roses and Van Halen in recent years.

Add this to the Grimm rumor mill: Phil Spector plans to produce the next Grimm CD and the replacement bassist is rumored to be Flea...

(Note: For those not picking up on the heap of sarcasm above, this reply is a joke!)

Oh Dom you also forgot I am currently in talks with The boys from tears for fears they were considering adding a more metal oriented vocal sound in the next album and have ask me to sit in so if that pans out I aill be leaving " THE GRIMM " as well. COME ON PEOPLE GET WITH IT !! GRIMM IS HERE TO STAY NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU HATE US !! See you in December.

Actually, Kent died from a blunt force head trauma (Bob held him down while Dom did the deed with a tire iron). His mangled body is buried in a shallow grave along I-80, near the Jersey Shore exit. You'll notice on the cover for the next Grimm album, tentatively titled "Shabby Road," that he's crossing the street wearing no shoes.

I'm a look-alike double who will be playing his "part" from now on.

Don't forget that Dom has been dealing with that "cross-dcressing" thing ever since doing music for "Rocky Horror".

I am sure that I have the real Kent's index finger. Strange where you find yourself hanging out when there are no Grimm shows to go to. I am going to auction it off on Ebay.

And Bobby, the Tears for Fears album came out. I can hear the "uncredited" guest vocals and knew it was you. Thats Ok Everybody Wants to rule the world.

Tom Waits covers? that would rock hard, man. Actually, I heard Kent was running for president in 2008 with a platform of making Altoona the nation's capital and selling the South to Canada. Sitting around Altoona with diplomats while in a Canadian Sandwich wouldn't be that bad.
