Great Band

Post by tornandfrayed »

These guys are a great band. Put on a good live show also. I have seen them several times and they never fail to deliver. Falling up and Switchfoot are also two to see, along with Pillar...

Cool video....

I've been wanting to see them live. The only place they played around here was creation fest. I wish they would come to the Jordan Center.

And yes, Pillar and switchfoot are good as well. I haven't heard Falling Up yet, I will have to check them out. Another one I like is seventh day slumber ..

I have heard a lot of Demonhunter but haven't checked out Project86.

To be honest none of the Christian bands are my favorites....

I've seen Kutless live two times, and I have to say before I saw them live, I didn't think too much about them. After seeing them live, I gained a new respect for them and their music. Excellent band.

I think Switchfoot puts on possibly the best live show that I've seen, though. Of course it's all subjective, but I do think it would be hard to deny they put on a great show!

I saw Kutless live two years ago and must say they were very good. Another Christian band that is really good is Decemberadio. They have been racking up lots of awards too. Decemberadio plays a wide variety from hard rock to straight forward retro rock to ballads.

Lincoln Brewster is another one. He is an incredible guitarist who is considered one of the premier session players today too and he played with Steve Perry. Check them out.

Yep - I enjoyed Decemberadio when I saw them a couple of years ago, and I've seen Red the past two summers at Creation. I'm a big fan of Red. I met them briefly at the PRS guitar booth at Creation this year after their set, and they are some really nice, down to earth guys, too.

Red is an excellent band, I've been listening to them for a few years now. Skillet is another band that you guys should check out, if you don't already know them.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

Kutless is a great band. Also, don't forget about Stryper. They are still alive and kicking, with a new album out. Michael Sweet's son is playing with them now.

Yep, Skillet is great - John Cooper is a cool guy. I seen a couple of their live performances, they are some one I would go see, especially if it is an outside show. They are crazy with the Pyro - And Stryper's Oz Fox, in my opinion, is one of the most influential christian guitarist ever ..

Demon Hunter kicks ass.

never heard of kutlass but i used to own a cutlass... of the oldsmobile variety. i loved that car. it's a shame, the floor in the trunk around the body mounts rotted out and i sold it to a dude that ran it in a demo derby. it was great. it was a 1980 cutlass calais with 4 headlights... kinda a mix of a 79 and an 81. awsome car.

I listened to Kutlass and they weren't bad. I like Newsboys and Becoming the Archetype. I was mad, cause Becoming the Archetype was playing in Bedford and I missed them...**sad**. And I agree about Switchfoot, very good band.
