Approx. 1991. I know it's not 'too' old. I'm 4th from left, standing in back. Someone noted that I looked like the uni-bomber w/ geeky glasses.

Rainbow City Rock Band La Chalet circa 1975- nuff said!

The Untouchables 1970
Bill Edwards at far right. Tom Clark at far left filling in for Ed Kissel who had a softball game (huh). Bill Dibert (RIP) on guitar.
The little tyke is probably one of you RP'er's with little tykes of your own!

The second edition of Xeno with Bob Hopfl on bass. Fran Hite on Keys. Fran , you seein' this?

2nd version of Xeno @ Pelly's with guest guitarist "Reggie". I can't remember his last name, maybe Rick does.
The guy played like Hendrix! He would sit in when his band was performinf at the Sheraton Inn. We also had the drummer from Warrant sit in one night! Those were great times!!

The 3rd version of Xeno. Lakemont Park. It's the only photo I have with Paula Glunt in it.
I have no idea were Randy R is hiding!
Matt Frederick...
I think that's the guy who Jeff Wallack said was the best guitarist nobody ever heard. Absolute musical genius who couldn't face an audience. I'm pretty sure that's the guy's name. He said he went to his house and the dude just smoked, but he wouldn't even face Jeff. What a shame, if Wallack dug him that much, the world missed something special.--->JMS

Louie had a hybrid Fender. I can't remember if it was a Tele body with a Srtat neck or vice versa.undercoverjoe wrote:Louie playing a Strat?RamRod 1 wrote:Wow! I can see the "Teeth Marks" on Louis Brumbaugh's guitar! Look at the top cutaway.
I thinks his amp in my old 1964 Fender "Vibrolux". I sold it to him in 1975.

At least that was the one that he used to bite on the body contour....

Matt Frederick is my ex's (zappas) cousin. Yea, he is REALLY good. Not sure if he is still playing, I'll have to ask Frank. As far as I know the guy has never played out. Matt would be too shy for that. He would be the guitarist playing with his back to his audience.

Regarding the seemingly mysterious Matt Frederick - I do believe that he played guitar for Altoona's Lizzie Borden for a short while in 1981. Not 100% sure of that though. Jeff Wallach (guitar) and JB Batrus (drums) were the other members as far as I know. Can't remember who the bass or vocals were in that band.ZappasXWife wrote:Matt Frederick is my ex's (zappas) cousin. Yea, he is REALLY good. Not sure if he is still playing, I'll have to ask Frank. Jeff was still refining his skillz at the time of Lizzie Borden and it wasn't until I saw him play with Scarfone/Watters in a later band that I realized what a monstrous guitarist he was.

Matt Fredrick
So in my opinion... the ultimate tribute Metal band.
Matt Fredrick on Guitar
Jeff Wallack on Guitar
John Scarfone on Bass
Bobby Watters on Drums
And then who would sing... didn't Steve Oswald used to play with Matt in the basement at that place under/beside Baskin and Robbins.
Ask Frank Ciccarella he and Matt are cousins.
Sorry about the spelling on some of the names.

Another addition to the "The Edge/Wanted/Five Nations" family- Scott Robleski (center)joins the band. Local artist Dark Soul provides an original water color piece as background. This poster measures 2' x 3'!

"So many notes, so little time" - Jeff Wallack
Five Nations was a great band, and Robleski was incredible on vocals. Best covers of Styx & Queensryche I have ever heard were at Five Nations gigs.PStl wrote:Another addition to the "The Edge/Wanted/Five Nations" family- Scott Robleski (center)joins the band. Hey Beau... his name was Reggie Boyd. What a dynamic guitarist.bsaller wrote:

I still have a Charvel mahogany strat-style body that he gave me for fixing his Boss DD2 delay pedal. It's part of my frankenstein guitar. Wallack used to call it "the boat anchor" because it's so friggin' heavy.
... and then the wheel fell off.
Great memory there, Ron!Ron wrote:Hey Beau... his name was Reggie Boyd. What a dynamic guitarist.bsaller wrote:

That was such a blast when he sat in. Do you remember Warrant's drummer sitting in?
