It will soon be over and ...

OK...

Put up or shut up. We have bickered and bitched and argued and debated. The Election will be over in several days, this is my suggestion, prior to the results of the election.

It pisses me off to think that all this has gone on and no one really benefits from it. I say it will be time on Decemeber 17th for someone to benefit from this.

I say it should be "The Grimm" and I say that we should all show up and make ammends. It will be Peter C's on the 17th of Decemebr. I am posting this now because I want you all to know that either way I will be there. I know that most of us don;t go out to see live bands much but this would be a great time to come out and rub the dems faces in the republican victory! And we can all move on. And you will get to have fun with one of the most talented ORIGINAL bands that I have seen on the scene... (pun)

Consider it a challenge, let's all get together and have that beer!

Peter C's, the 17th of Decmeber, be there or be somewhere else!

I doubt if anybody will want to talk about this election a week from Christmas. I would, however, like to invite everybody over to the Hitching Post this Friday for a "post"-election beer. Its a good environment for that kind of thing (B.S.ing), since you can actually hear what the other person is saying. Unless, of course, you want me to turn it up. I play anything from blues to punk to 70s, 80s, 90s, hard rock, metal, grunge, alternative, so everybody will have something they like. With the synchronized light system and yes, real rock guitar, its a whole 'nuther level from the typical solo or acoustic show.

This is my last solo booking for now, since I'm looking to start a band soon.

Hmmmm

Post by tornandfrayed »

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.....

I really didn't mean for this to be a post about trying to get people to come to shows. We already know that very few people on this board ever go to see anyone, I mean if they did then we would have people at shows!

I really doubt that anyone will even come to see "the Grimm" because of this post. I do want people to know that the Politcians come and go.

I have often said that most great companies succeed in spite of their managment, not because of it. I believe the same to be true for America.

I am working in New York right now but will try to get to the Hitching Post on Friday.

I hope to see you there!

All I meant was to invite people over to the Hitching Post for a post-election gathering. For this purpose, it is a much, much, much more appropriate setting than a loud band at Peter C's. There is no cover and pints are $1.75. Cheap and comfortable.

Besides, this election will be forgotton by Saturday morning, so this is the only one I can attend.

You never know

Post by tornandfrayed »

You never can tell what is going to happen at a Grimm show.

But really "Rocky" was a hell of a lot of fun! I am glad you guys enjoyed it, the people in that play (myself not really included!) worked their asses off to make it a good show!

I had to turn in the speedos becuase of decency laws but you never know about fishnet!

And you two will get a beer on me!

If your woman brings her "flashee's" then I'll let you buy her a beer too! lol.
We're going to try to make it up. The only way we'd miss it is if the day-off-from-work-gods don't smile upon us...
