Grimm Fans! After a jam packed three years of recording and supporting Resurruption, switching members mid-stream, and playing our butts off, we've decided to take a hiatus. Between spending a lot of time (ok, waaaaayyyy too much time) in the studio and experiencing so many changes, it is time for us regroup and reformat. We are, at this point, a new band, and we need to act as such. Over the next six months or so, we'll be writing, jamming, and recreating ourselves musically. We are NOT breaking up. Repeat: We are NOT breaking up! Think of this as hybernation...this bear will be back and HUNGRY in the spring!
What's that you say? You can't make it through the winter without a GRIMM fix? Fear not! We'll be doing a special Xmas show at Peter C's on December 17th...it will be your only chance to catch the last gasp of "old" Grimm before the new band emerges from the dark cave next year! More details are on the way...so stop back to the site soon! We'll also be posting some special freebies to thegrimm.com throughout the fall and winter to reward you for stopping by.
A new era.
A new band.
A new thegrimm.com.
All coming this spring.
We love you all...thanks for supporting us!
Da Grimm!

I'm glad I didn't have to fight in a war, I'm glad I didn't get killed or kill somebody, I hope my kids enjoy the same lack of manhood

As much as I hate to think of a winterless Grimm...the idea of a brand new sic-ness intrigues me. I can't wait to see what becomes of it.
Think we could all still meet at kings once in a while after midnight? just because..

I Think This Is An Extremely Good Idea!!!! After all you have been through... "time off" isn't a bad thing! You all have been through many adjustments recently. And sometimes its better to step back and relax - then trying to push forward and get frustrated! I commend you guys for your decision!!!
HOWEVER.... A "Grimmless Winter" is gonna be hard to get through
But the anticipation of a NEW ~ FRESH GRIMM will be well worth the wait!!!!
My Best To All Of My Boyz!!!!!
Love Ya!

PS.... I Will Be There On Dec. 18th w/ Jingle Bells On! hee.... hee.... hee....

Hey all,
Haven't been posting much lately, but I just wanted to drop by and say hey to all the Grimm fans out there. This hiatus has been a long time coming and something we truly need....I hope that when we return in the spring, it will prove to have been worth the wait. It has been a rough year for us, personally and musically....hopefully, we'll be able to turn all of these experiences into to some powerful new music.
Hope to see you all on December 17 for the Grimm production of....
"It's a Miserable Life." We may even bring Jimmy Stewart back from the dead to make an appearance:).
Peace,
Kent
