How about this?

Why can't their be a section of the forums dedicated to political discussion. I just looked at the last ten topics and eight of them were political. If there was a separate section dedicated to politics then general discussion could be politics free and people would be free to discuss something like, say, music. I get in the fights a lot, too, so I'm not complaining about the politics, I'm just saying that maybe they should have their own section so it doesn't clutter up the general discussion.

Its been brought up every month or so for the past 2 years. It hasn't happened yet.

I was going to say something but I held my tongue, until now.

I have no say but it's getting irritating.. even though I hardly post, it's a big turn off to have to look through all the political topics to find a music topic.

i was under the impression that general discussion was discussion in general. when you look at the main page of the forum, it gives a little description below each section, except general discussion. i think general discussion would be for pretty much anything... but, that's just the conclusion i've come to...

That is my thought as well. But I do agree that there should be a seperate forum for politics as it seems to be one of the main things that is talked about here, along with music.

I've actually thought there should be a separate music only forum, rather than a politics only forum. Politics is part of general discussion, as are the random other threads that come up, but I have to admit it gets a little frustrating when I lose track of the music threads amidst all the other (mostly politics) threads. Being able to find the music stuff all in one place would be great.

I've actually thought there should be a separate music only forum, rather than a politics only forum.
