Sounds like a good plan actually...wheres the Rock For The Troops gang maybe we can all come together and throw a huge show like mentioned here? Any Ideas Bill or maybe Kevin and whoever else was involved before? Instead of "Rock For The Troops" it could now be "Rock With The Troops"? Just a thought..

I ran into a friend of mine from high school today who just came home from Iraq. Being a veteran myself,it was cool talking shop with him and listening to some of the stuff he went thru over there. On a sad note,Chad Edmunson was part of the Stryker Brigade that lost his life over there and I can't imagine how hard it must have been for his family(who was at the Armory when the buses arrived) to know that their son wasn't on those buses, that had to be heartbreaking for them. R.I.P Chad.

I agree, but on the last comment...joltinjeff wrote:
Veterans of every war this country has ever been involved in has given you the right to do what you do whether it it is on stage, behind the scenes or just a fan. I dont care much for our current commander in chief and its not because he is black ... it is because he has no freakin clue.
How, exactly, has your life been any different in the last seven months? The last jackass took my wife and my child's mom away for over a year, and one of my best friends never made it back. IN IRAQ, the war that should not have been, and I can't get that back. I'm still pissed.
Just curious.

Some people are lucky just to be able to type a proper sentence. I gave GWB my loyalty even though I didn't agree now it is time for others to do the same. Either way the troops need to come home. They have served valiantly and they deserve a hero's welcome.
It is always the people who pay the price. It is the people of Baghdad that pay just as we do with the lives of their young men. Most people just want to live and create a life. Whether you are an Iraqi or an American it is the same story.
