Songs that you would never voluntarily listen to again.

Post by f.sciarrillo »

As topic says.

Mine would be:

Free Bird
Stairway To Heaven
Proud To Be An American (I am proud to be an American, but if I hear that song one more time I am going to kill some one)
and
Hey Jude ...

How about yours?

There are a lot.

These work:

Free Bird
Sweet Home Alabama
Proud To Be An American
Crazy Train
Rockin' in the Free World (Neil's great, but this song needs to be stopped)
Summer of '69 (aRGH)

BUT, the absolute number one hope to never hear it again....

"Old Time Rock & Roll" Horrible. Absolutely horrible.

It means one of two things, or at least I think I found it. It has something to do with Peace or something about singers marching. Maybe it was that kinda thing that MJ was doin on the AEG video??? Who freakin knows.

Back to the Thread!!!

Any damned Nickelback song.
ANY Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus song and or Taylor Swift.
CREED
Ditto on the U2 or Springsteen
Britney Spears
Jessica Simpson
Free Bird (just simply because every bar I go to and a band is playing some idiot is screamin for the band to play it)
Having talent is one thing....what you do with it is something else

unforunately, pretty much everything on Rocky 99........for example: Led Zeppelin used to be my favorite band ( I still LOVE them because they are a big reason I began playing guitar 13 years ago), but you are bound to hear a mainstream Zeppelin tune AT LEAST once an hour!!!!! Maybe if we weren't bombarded with the same songs day after day we would appreciate these bands/songs a lot more.........

Mony Mony
Keep Your Hands To Yourself
Takin' Care Of Business
California Sun
Old Time Rock And Roll
All Summer Long
The Breakup Song
Bad To The Bone
Copperhead Road

La Bamba
Mustang Sally
Pink Cadillac
Satisfaction
Smoke On The Water
Tulsa Time
The Twist

I could probably come up with at least 2 or 3 hundred more but this is just off the top of my head.

Most of the popular Skynard songs.

The popular Sabbath songs (why don't they ever play Snowblind?)

My wife goes out with her girlfriends on the weekends & she loves Dance music (Kanye West, Akon, Soulja Boy, Lady Gaga, Flo Rida, Black Eyed Peas, ect), so I would say anything they play at Wolfingdales, haha

LOTS, but some that stand out:
Old Time Rock n Roll has to be # 1 - hate that so much
That song about some girl looking cute with something in her mouth. Whaat? It reminds me of some dirty child molester.
Sister Christian.
Love Bob Dylan but hate Knockin on Heaven's Door, by anyone.
