Thanx all.
It doesn't seem as bright as before, but then the Barden bridge pickup crapped out and I had to replace it with a Bill Lawrence designed Gibson HB-L. I like this pickup a lot more than the soaked-with-highs Barden.
I will probably also replace the Barden neck humbucker with a PAF wannabe like a Dimarzio Air for the same reason. The Barden single in the middle really sounds great and I'll probably keep it there, but ya never know..
Its already starting to get dinged up from light contact. I hope I don't have to store it for a year before that Stewmac stuff hardens.

I have an HB-L as a replacement in a lap steel, and love it. They usually either come with a cheapo Strat single-coil or the vintage string-thru (also awesome in it's own way), and the warmth and thick gainy tone of the Lawrence is much more versatile than the others, which are okay for country only.--->JMSlonewolf wrote:Thanx all.

Was fun bro!

Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.
