I am a firm Christian which by definition Joe, Implies Jesus Christ as my only Messianic figure. My spiritual beliefs are a bit beyond the normal in that respect but I would not classify any President that I have ever seen to be a "Messiah". Is that what you call people that are well liked?

No it would not be like a republican, it would be like anyone who really cares. But it is not about power and violence, it is about "resetting" the gov. I have already stated on Rockpage that as a people the only way we can get our country back is to take it. Define that as you might it does not automatically indicate violence. But it would also create a situation that might be uncomfortable for a lot of people so I doubt it will happen. Because comfort is our middle name here in the USA. So rebellion. I doubt it. A lot of talk to stir up hate. That is what I hear on the media, one side bashing another. It is all load of crap.

ron paul had a huge internet buzz. but, when the media started deciding who would win the election, his number of searches (searches performed using his name) seemed to slim down.


i also think it's funny that you said you love ron paul, but htat you also like obama. you do know that their political views on spending are just about polar opposites, right?

I love Rush but I am not crazy about the song "Roll the Bones". I actually don't like it. That does not mean that I don't like Rush, it means that there are some things they have done that I don't care for.

In Politics it seems that it is "all or nothing". Problem is that I believe in helping those who need help yet I have been in business for myself for over 10 years. I love the thought of universal healthcare, but pay a shitload of money in taxes every month.

So, I like a lot of things that Ron Paul talks about and a lot of his viewpoints. I also like Baracks compassion and his intellect. You can catagorize me whatever way you want, I have never really fit into a label and probably don't now.

That is OK though. See I don't have to love everything about lonewolf or undercoverjoe to know that they are good guys and there are some (non partisan) things that we agree on.

Really when it comes down to it, I am pleased that I don't fit any of the labels you have available.

As far as Palin, I wasn't kidding. You know that Rob. In reality I agree that she might be the best candidate the GOP has.

What makes me believe Sarah Palin is an idiot? Things she has said (for one, the Katy Couric interview), decisions she has made in her home state (bridge to nowhere?), and, yes I know this is a cheap shot, but her stance on abstinence (why are polititians so involved in this anyway), and you see how THAT worked out for her.
I do not watch TV. I do not know what this SNL parody is that people speak of. I do not listen to right or left talk radio. I do read newspapers, read TIME and NEWSWEEK magazine, and various things on the internet. I do realize that all media is slanted. I truly believe that I have based my opinions on how this candidate presented herself with statements and whatnot, not how the media portrayed her. Rob, I don't "Hate" Sarah Palin. I have done some reading and some looking around and I see that alot of people from her home state are not really happy with what she has done. She was investigated and although she avoided criminal charges, she was found to have acted "unethically" in several different capacities. Other then that I don't really know that much about her accomplishments.

I really believe that the person we need to run the country will never get involved in Politics. But Palin might be the front runner in 2012. Does not really matter that much to me, does not affect me that much. I really am working to get over my need to be "Right" in a political battle. As an American the thing that affects me the most I guess is taxes. I pay a shitload of taxes. Other then that my concerns are helping those in need and Civil liberties I guess. I like the thought of alternative energy and the high speed rail system. In General I want things that will help our country. Problem we have relates back to the cost of America and the need for services. Can we compete with global manufacturing? I don't know. Someone somewhere here said "We don't have to compete globally, we just have to take care of our own." That is a quaint sentiment but unreal ad impossible to live by. You would have to outlaw export and import, or at the very least tax the shit out of the bi directional flow of goods so that both would pay huge tariffs. Ain't gone to happen.

I love charity's that help people who really need help. I would love to see everyone get Health Care that is affordable and the quality that they deserve.

Everyone has a right to choose who they like and we all do it for different reasons.

I am concerned right now about the Partisan state of the gov. I want that to change and I don't know how it can.

If we were to be in charge what would we do together to get things done more effectively then the gov does now? Would we be any different? I doubt it, we would probably fuck it up even worse...
