Ok..gonna toot our horn here...but...

Frank got this ideal that he needed to break out the nice stainless steel grill at The Popper. He got these really nice loins and is running a special where you can pick your own size...75 cents an ounce...he grills it on the deck for you...so for that price, you get a nice fresh cut NY Strip, baked potato or fries and a salad....its only available when he's there.

I've had one Friday, Saturday and yet again today! He does know how to cook with the grill for sure. You can hear it sizzling on the plate when its served....oh, I'm going to have to have him work more this week so I can have another. LOL

I played a private party yesterday for Mike Barroner, and the food was top-shelf. I had fresh lemon-pepper salmon, herbed asparagus in asiago cheese sauce, chipotle rubbed sirloin (medium), home-made haluski, walnut crusted green beans, washed it all down with Amstel on tap, and for dessert, Santa Claus melon (never had that, it's like a honeydew, but with a bit of a creamy consistency) and dead-ripe pineapple. I gotta start going to Barroner's Fruit Market, the produce was excellent. They also had day-picked sweet corn with several gourmet herb-butters, but I didn't want to sing with corn in my teeth. :D

I had 2 ears of corn from Leighty's, cajun tofu steaks sauteed with garlic and onions and for snack Doritos Tacos at Midnight flavor while I watched a great documentary about The Who.
You should try not to eat convenience food..eating it a lot is SO bad for you! Not trying to be like vegan-nazi (bchamber) but I worry about you boys!
songsmith why weren't we there....noone can compete with your spread. Have been to a Baronner party before and the food WAS top-shelf (one of his weddings receptions haha)

Man that sounds awesome!

We're having our annual wild game BBQ at my dad's on Saturday! Venison/Wild Boar/Turkey/Ram/Bear/Salmon and more on the grill! Oh yeah, Beer and horseshoes too. Gonna get primed up for The Side Effects show at Aldos later that night.

I"m going to grill individual pizzas on my grill and smother them with sausage, cheese and banana peppers . . . probably some sort of salad as well.

Some corn.

In the form of bourbon.

Rye if I'm lucky. A girl needs her grains to stay fit and regular. :P
